STAFF
Fred Wallace
Top Dog/Owner
Welcome and thank you for choosing Camp Green Dog. I entered into animal services after 28 years engaged in various business interests. I am a pet lover at heart with 9 dogs, 2 cats, a horse and of course Waffles the wonder donkey! My goal is to provide you and your pets with the best boarding and daycare experience in the Lowcountry. Below is my fantastic staff that help make Camp Green Dog the great place it is.
The Green Dog Squad
Adrian
Camp Counselor
Adrian loves to cut up and for some reason try and make dogs laugh. Not sure why, but it seems to work! He’s bi-lingual and has never seen a pizza he didn’t like.
Cassy
Camp Counselor / Operations
With Cassy’s military background, she runs tight ship around Camp Green Dog. Strict about loving on these animals! She has two rescue dogs, a German Shepherd named Ophelia, and a hound named Chewy…named that for good reason!
Crystal
Pack Leader / Operations
Crystal the greeter to the kennel and the person who works with you at the front desk. She is in charge of reservations, check-in and check-out and other operational kennel needs. She’s my right hand dog, in essence! Crystal has a very distinguished beagle named Charles along with 4 cats, a pig and a chicken.
Duke
Camp Counselor
Duke has never met a dog he didn’t like. Even the most apprehensive dog calms in Duke’s presence. He’s our own Dog Whisperer! Duke has a shitzu named Scooter that looks like a hound/pitt mix. Strange but true!
Hannah
Camp Counselor
Hannah has a love of all things “dog” both at Camp Green Dog and at home. She is also a certified veterinary assistant.
Joe
Board of Directors: Camp Green Dog Foundation
Joe is a square dancing, Greyhound saving, short man from the Bronx. Owner of 11 dogs, Greyhounds and many others. Joe is retired, but he is still on our Board of Directors for our 501C3 non-profit organization: Camp Green Dog Foundation.
Kari
Groomer Extraordinaire
Kari possesses 18 years of grooming experience working on Airedales to Poodles. She uses classic techniques-NO heated drying, and you will have a groom that looks great 3 weeks from now. She raises and shows award winning Border Collies and Jack Russel Terriers and also enjoys horses and gardening.
Katherine
Camp Counselor
A wry wit and individuality, coupled with veterinary hospital experience, make “Kat” an invaluable part of the team.
Larissa
Camp Counselor / Operations
What can you say, it doesn’t get any sunnier than Larissa. While at home she relaxes with her two loveable rescues Bentley and Coda.
Maddie
Camp Counselor
Maddie enjoys listening to music, creative writing and her two Rottweilers.
Sophia
Camp Counselor
Sophia is a part-time student, as well as a part time CGD counselor. She is working her way towards a vet tech degree.
